Winston Reed
MANAGING PARTNER
Winston Reed is a native Houstonian and ten-year US Air Force veteran. During his time in the USAF, he lived in the UK and traveled broadly to places like Turkey, Germany, China and Africa where he developed a global perspective on the need for obtainable housing. He has worked in Human Resources for several nationally recognized healthcare organizations for 20 plus years and has an Executive MBA (Finance) from Texas Southern University.
Winston has experience in the real estate, banking, energy and healthcare industries and understands that real estate is still the best vehicle for long-term wealth creation. He also has a conservative approach to real estate investing for low risk/high yield returns. He has been a licensed real estate professional in Arizona and Texas and maintains a personal portfolio of single-family rental properties.
Winston co-founded WH Capital Partners LLC in order to apply the same investment principles to the multifamily market and to make these opportunities available to other investors. He is a member of the board of KBS-HHS, a start-up, not-for-profit health and human services organization providing low-cost healthcare and housing services to rural Texas communities. He is also active in the Houston autism community and volunteers his time to help with other local charities.
Henry Porche
MANAGING PARTNER
Henry Porche II is the co-founder and co-manager of WH Capital Partners LLC, where he oversees the acquisition, financing, and development of Class B+, B, and C rental properties. He has secured long-term capital gains for investors in both domestic and international markets, with a portfolio that includes the ground-up construction of a high-rise condominium and commercial factory in West Africa, as well as the renovation and rental of several single- and multi-family properties in the U.S. and abroad. Henry combines his penchant for uncovering new streams of income with an agility that allows him to navigate complex regulatory environments, challenging market conditions, and all manner of cultural nuances.
Henry’s real estate experience is bolstered by strong relationships with hard money and private lenders, a background in finance and a Certified Public Accountancy by the state of Texas. Henry served as Chief Financial Officer for Texas Marine Management for over ten years. There, he assembled the financing for several major acquisitions and secured the exclusive rights to a unique portfolio of marine products.
For Mr. Porche, a graduate of Texas Southern University, building generational wealth is rooted in both family and community. He has served as President of Alpha Phi Alpha – Delta Theta Chapter, Cub Master for Troop 212 (Boy Scouts of America), President of the Jack Yates Booster Club, and as a faithful member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. His community endeavors have also included philanthropic support for the Conrad Johnson Youth Fund (Save the Music), Reconstruction of a Survivor, Black Men of Harvard, Water Wells for Africa, the Alley Theater, and many more.
